Michel has worked in live-action production management for Farkas Productions, Freedman/Lippert Productions and Levinson, Israelson and Bell representing commercial live-action directors regionally and nationally. She produced an in-house film in New York for BMW International. In San Francisco she joined Xaos, as Director of Marketing. Over several years she assisted in establishing a preeminent role for the company in 70mm film (IMAX) ranging from Everest, Wege Zur Qualitaet, Mysteries of Egypt, to Island of the Sharks. 

Xavier Viramontes Printmaker A LIFE IN PRINT, the one-hour documentary  Michel directed and produced will air on PBS in September 2008. Other artist profile video's include; child prodigy Allie Buckner's How to Make An Altered Barbie, Patsy Krebs: Current Work, Maggie Malloy - Spiritual (Re)Connect and sculptor Carl Dern Studio Time; Trees. As a visual artist her work as printmaker, painter and filmmaker has exhibited in New York, California and in Shanghai, China.
