Michel Fraser is an independent filmmaker based in the San Franicsco Bay area. Her previous project - Xavier Viramontes Printmaker A LIFE IN PRINT (www.alifeinprint.net), the one-hour documentary Michel directed and produced is airing on public and PBS stations nationwide. She has produced and directed several artist documentary profile films; Allie Buckner's - How to Make An Altered Barbie, Patsy Krebs - Current Work, Haines Gallery & Selected Paintings, Maggie Malloy - Spiritual (Re)Connect, Stones, Bones, Locks & Boxes and for sculptor Carl Dern - Studio Time: Trees.
As a visual artist her work as printmaker and painter has exhibited in New York, California and in China.

In a previous incarnation Michel worked in live-action production management in Los Angeles and New York representing live-action directors regionally and nationally. In San Francisco she joined a visual effects and animation house as Director of Marketing for television broadcast commercials, feature films, 70mm and ride films. She has worked as an Executive Producer and Producer on commercials, interactive media and industrials.
